Mr. Copeland is in charge of the Calgary office of Meaden & Moore International and has over 25 years of professional experience, mostly in loss measurement for insurance and in litigation support. He has been involved in matters pertaining to a wide range of businesses and industries including major losses in energy production, refining and transportation, mining, power generation and chemical production. He has appeared in legal proceedings as an expert witness, including testifying in the Courts of Queen's Bench in Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia, as well as in Texas. He has lectured on business interruption and related topics on numerous occasions.
Mr. Copeland obtained both his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.
Mr. Copeland is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Accountant (CA), designated as a specialist in forensic and investigative accounting (CA•IFA), is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the AICPA and is a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP).
